50 Recipes, #29: Thai pork lettuce wraps

... except I used turkey, and we decided to serve over rice instead of wrapping in lettuce. (That's okay; we'll use the lettuce in a salad on Sunday with the lovely spring turnips from the CSA and as many home-grown cherry tomatoes as will fit on the plate.)

Um. Anyway. This is a recipe from the latest issue of Cook's Illustrated, and apart from the obvious turkey/pork substitution, I pretty much made it as-is except for subbing in a parsley/basil combination instead of cilantro, since [livejournal.com profile] columbina has the bad cilantro gene. Served with jasmine rice and a simple salad of sliced cherry tomatoes in ponzu. Really delicious -- I'd totally make this again.
