Nothing could possibly go wrong with this plan!

SFX hosts a contest to design the Doctor's bedroom. Now taking bets on how many entries they get vs. how many entries they could actually publish in a family magazine.

Mirrors on the ceiling, red satin sheets, a poster saying "Time Lords do it 13 times (a day)," a shrine of the underwear of departed companions, River song lying naked on the bed...

...okay, I see what you mean.

Oh jeez.

It'd be one thing to do this for larks as a Blue Peter compo, but considering SFX's readership...? You're right, shenanigans will result.

I can imagine the tension there would be whether or not to include Jack's gaff as part of the shrine.

I notice there's nothing that says it's an official BBC contest or affiliated with the BBC, which means they might have more latitude. Even so, i can see the Doctor Who Branding Team going, "What were you thinking?"

(I checked the Terms & Conditions. It's SFX only. Let the shennanigans begin!)

And by "toss", I presume you mean "put up on the wall in the tea room".

The creators of any rejected entries could surely post them on that lovely Whovian Sexual Frustration blog on tumblr?
Actually, I'd like to see the whole competition held on tumblr. Turn it into a spectator sport - more fun for everyone.
