Snow day
The view outside my house this morning:

The official snowfall tally for my city is 2', but we had drifts of close to 3' in spots. About seven person-hours later,
columbina and I have a clean walk and driveway, although we still need to see whether the car will move tomorrow, what with there having been so much snow that it's solidly packed underneath the car.
To get a sense of how much snow we got at once, it helps to look at this photo from the very snowy winter in early 2010, at which point I'd been piling snow in the garden for quite some time:

This is what the front garden looked like today just from the one blizzard's snowfall (and my shoveling):

So yeah, we got some snow.
One last photo: this is
columbina standing next to the pile of snow he (mostly) built in the driveway. He is 6'4". I am 5'2". The pile is taller than I am.

On the bright side, we never lost power, we have plenty of food in the house (including homemade char siu, yum), and I have literally shoveled enough today to work off the entire day's allotment of calories. Martini time now, I think.
