This sounds lovely! This is one of the multitude of reasons I like you -- you're a foodie without being obsessive about the "just exactly correct" ingredients. I sometimes feel guilty about not feeling guilty (did that make sense?) about substituting what I have in the house / can buy easily at my local supermarket as opposed to trekking to the high-end market / know my family will eat for the specialized ingredients in some of the recipes I try. Honestly, am I buying Orange Blossom honey to put a quarter-cup in a recipe for butternut squash soup that feeds 12? No I am not. (Locally-harvested honey is better for allergy prevention, anyway.)
