Yay, pickles!
I went out to breakfast Sunday, a bit late, and the deli already had pickle barrels on the tables for lunch, so I had breakfast WITH PICKLES.

Sue++ once went on a rant about delis that give you half-sours that aren't truly half-sours.
Of course after she did so, I became more acute when it comes to them and damned if she wasn't right!

If a half-sour isn't crisp and loaded with garlic, it isn't worth eating.
I keep meaning to try to make them, but the fermentation process involve scares me a little bit.
