It has been a really stupid day, and I have moved around far more snow than I really needed to, but there is no day so horrible that it cannot be redeemed by the presence of a sleeping cat.
The paw over the face move is one of my favorites, too. I sometimes think that sleeping cats are so cute as a defense mechanism, so you don't kill them for all the obnoxious things they do when they're awake.
It was an awful, no-good snow+sleet+rain = CRAPTASTIC DAY, and I agree, moments like yours and this (http://www.flickr.com/photos/jagpatel/3234689035/) make it all okay.
