APAD(ish) #14: Cow
I drove out to Drumlin Farm today for the last summer CSA pickup and brought along the camera. The CSA tent is right next to fenced-in pasture for cows and sheep, and I was lucky enough to get this shot:

Drumlin has dried cornstalks decorating all the streetlights lining the path near the parking lot.

Mortarless stone wall near the top of the path leading down from the entrance towards the CSA tent and farm buildings.

It's definitely autumn in New England.

Speaking of Sally Sparrow, I've now seen Carey Mulligan in two Boston Globe articles this week, and there was a review of her new movie in the latest Entertainment Weekly. It's a little weird seeing someone I know only from DW start to achieve real Hollywood stardom; I think EW mentioned she should be an Oscar contender for Best Actress.
