Thanksgiving menu, 2016

Storing this here for posterity:

• Sofra's za'atar almonds and spiced hummus (made with chickpeas, because I couldn't find a source for certified gluten-free dry yellow split peas)


• Serious Eats' Chinese red-sauce-glazed turkey (GAZE UPON ITS GLORIOUSNESS)


• baked chiles rellenos with ranchero sauce


• cornbread dressing


• Serious Eats' gluten-free green bean casserole


• mashed potatoes with caramelized onions


• cranberry tangerine conserve


• gluten-free biscuits (bless King Arthur Flour; these taste 95% like the real thing)


• homemade maple-walnut ice cream spiked with Boston cream liqueur


• five delicious mini-pies friend with celiac purchased at the local gluten-free bakery: apple, blueberry, cheesecake, flourless chocolate, and pumpkin

A good meal, if I do say so myself.
