He sounds more like Paul Simon to me, but either way, I liked the song enough to buy it.

Yeah, I can hear Simon, too. I was thinking of McLean's voice on "Vincent."

I think I've bought one CD in the past several years -- Joy Division's greatest hits -- and that was only because my wife was nagging me about them.
