Software Fail Moment of the Day

Brought to you by Adobe Acrobat Connect. This is what happens if you're trying to share your screen and then see what other people are viewing. I wouldn't even have tried this if it weren't for the fact that the damned software makes it impossible to tell what you're actually sharing with the presentation viewers, thus leading you to believe that sharing isn't working at all.

Apparently this is expected behavior. Sure looks like fail to me.

Acrobat Connect fails.

From the *moderator*: "If you only have one monitor and you preview your screen share in the meeting room you will get a recursion of a the meeting room within the meeting room within the meeting room within the meeting room, etc."

Wow. That must be some tasty Kool-Aid they sure over at Adobe, to make someone willing to type that sentence without gagging. Duh, you'll get a recursion if you ONLY have one monitor, you incompetent luser!

OOOOH awesome. Infinity covers (http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x161/infobroker/infiniteDrStrange.jpg) are one of comicbook collecting's holy grails.

There's an icon at the bottom of the screen. It looks like eyeglasses. It's off by default. If you click on it (as you did), it starts the "recursive screen sharing". If you leave it unclicked (or actively un-click it in your case), the recursive sharing will stop.

Beautifully symmetric fail, though. *icon for great justice*
