You're welcome, though I purport to know nothing about what makes for good fiction (nor, evidently, how to spell "compliment"). I only know what I like. Thinking about it, what makes it work for me is the humor, which I don't need to know the characters to appreciate (though I suspect if I did, I'd find it hilarious) -- and I have to thank you also for spurring me to that insight. Most (though not all) of the written smut that I like has humorous elements (which, aside to C, is probably another reason I like Moving Parts more than Doppler). To me, sex is happy, funny, absurd (in the good sense), filled with laughter; it grinds me down to have it associated with pain, humiliation, loss, sadness, etc. I learn something new every day.
