1. Kinkmeme revival days, now underway! Head on over to [ profile] sizeofthatthing and write or prompt something, won't you? (But preferably write, as we have far more prompts than writers.)

2. [ profile] three_settings, the adult fic reccing comm, is back in business! Or rather, it will be in a couple of weeks – first, I want to get a little feedback from comm members. If you're a member, please stop by this post and respond to the poll; if you're not a member, join up, or leave me some suggestions on this public post. Either way, your participation in bringing even more pornography to the attention of Whoniverse fandom is greatly appreciated.

I haven't usually posted a call for [ profile] calufrax reccers on my journal before, but we could really use some this time around, so please spread the word about this on your own journals if you're so inclined.

[ profile] calufrax, in case you're not familiar with it (in which case you're probably one of my RL friends, not my fandom ones, and you're about to go "oh, it's that weird fic thing she's into"), is the fic reccing comm for A Teaspoon and an Open Mind. Each week, we have someone different recommend four to seven of their favorite stories from the archive.

All characters, pairings, genres, eras, and ratings are welcome, as long as the stories are well-written (that is, the author should know how to spell, format and the difference between "it's" and "its") and avoid attacking any particular character or pairing in a malicious way.

If you're interested, please leave a comment on the sign-up post. (You'll need to join the comm to see that post, but membership is open.)

I could have lived without the ableist insults, but the rest of this secret gets a big, fat HELL, YES from me. (Note that this is not my secret, but the original, TB!4 in this post, was too hard to read even at 100%, so I enlarged it.)

ETA: I should have added that the language used is NSFW, and that some people may find it offensive.

Survey!Fail may be over (for now, anyway), but for future reference, [ profile] papilio_luna has posted a very helpful set of questions to ask researchers before participating in any online studies. Highly recommended reading (and if you have other questions to add, just leave her a comment).
