Writing comedy is surprisingly hard even when your brain is in the mood for it, or at least that's how it is for me, anyway. I find it's something I either have to commit to 100% in the story or purge almost entirely, because otherwise the story's tone becomes a complete mess. I was a little worried with this one that I'd push things too far and end up with another crackfic, but fortunately, that didn't happen.
