Thank you! I was a bit worried about making Delirium too coherent, so I re-read parts of Brief Lives while working on her dialogue and found that she was much more coherent in spots than I had remembered. She could still probably use a little more weirdness, but I also felt like I might lose the narrative thread if I did that. It was a tricky balance.
And you know, I did think about doing a story with Dream but ultimately decided not to, because I figured everyone in Sandman fandom must write stories with him, and Delirium could use some more love. But the idea definitely has some intriguing possibilities!
