Thank you very much! This is the longest, most plot-driven piece I've ever written, and I was really hoping it would have a Who-episode kind of feel.
I am almost ashamed to admit this, but the idea for the story grew out of a dream in which I attended a party where people were in a conga line led by a small, talking skull in a Styrofoam cup ... so you can blame my subconscious for that image, I suppose.
