As for hot Doctor-on-Doctor action, the original concept for this was supposed to be Nine/Ten/Handy/Rose, but I couldn't quite come up with a plausible way to work Nine into the story, hot though it would have been. Not to mention the pronoun issues alone would have probably killed me.
