monkeys and ponies

From the fact that the script for the cut scene ends with the TARDIS flashing its lamp and making a groaning noise, I'm thinking it was supposed to fit in before that happens in the aired version. I'd have to watch again to see if that makes any sense at all, but I think it would be hard to have slipped it in between the kiss and the departure -- that would be some major re-editing. And if the final final goodbye were attached to that scene, I'd think they'd have given us enough script to see it.
