[livejournal.com profile] kalleah tagged me for this, and since I haven't done this meme before, I'll give it a shot. Pimping my own fic goes very much against the grain for me, but eh, maybe I'm just in that kind of mood today.

Sometimes it's okay to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fic-favorites you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.

Unpacking: this is one of the first fics I ever wrote, and even though I can look at it now and see all its rough edges, it's still a sentimental favorite of mine.

M.: I still can't believe I wrote a Thomas Pynchon crossover, much less one that actually feels Pynchonesque to me. There are probably a handful of people in fandom who would enjoy this story, and I suspect all of them have read it already. I don't care, because I'm really proud of it.

You That Way; We This Way: Because like "Unpacking," this fixes something I thought was broken in canon. And also because there is Ten/Handy.

How Do Porcupines Mate?: After all the joking about spiky cock stories, I'm still slightly ashamed to admit I wrote this, and perhaps slightly more so to admit how much I love it. It's sick and kind of wrong and yet strangely wistful and romantic at the same time. You can add this to the long list of obvious signs there's something wrong with me.

Fake Palindromes: I worked so hard on this story, and thank goodness the results were worth it. Well, I think they were, anyway.

Tagged: ... er, any fic authors on my flist who want to do this. I'd be more specific, but I'm leaving in six minutes to go see Star Trek. Priorities, you know.
