Dec. 13th, 2009 08:01 pmA chicken cacciatore-like recipe from this cookbook of Italian/Jewish recipes: chicken pieces stewed with tomatoes, black olives, garlic, and spices. Oddly, it was a bit underseasoned, but I expect the leftovers will be better, since the flavors will have had time to meld.
Served with CSA kale, and a whole bunch of potato, carrot, and parsnip latkes for the holiday. Honestly, I could have just made latkes for dinner, but that seemed like crossing a line.
