nonelvisWe drove up to Mack Hill Farm today to visit our friends Frank and Lisa and see the new puppies:
They spend a lot of time asleep:
This is good, as it is the only time you can catch a non-blurry shot of them. Because otherwise, they are constantly in motion:
... and they're also getting large enough to think about escaping the whelping box:
We ate delicious pulled pork, bread, crème brulée, apple butter, ginger-peach chutney, and lemonade that Lisa had made largely from ingredients from the farm, and bought quite a bit of pork to bring home with us. Mmm, thick-cut bacon.
And right as we were leaving, the two roosters decided to pose. Lisa and Frank think the roosters know how pretty they are. It's probably true.
