Hilarious random fact: years and years ago, back in the dark ages nineties, my friend rj_anderson wrote a series of fics about the Twelfth Doctor and an OC companion. Last year, she filed the serial numbers off and turned it into a novel, and named the character-who-was-once-the-Doctor "Faraday". Then she discovered it was also the name of a character on Lost, but decided not to change it because it suited him so well.
My point is, is it possible you guys have somehow stumbled on a cultural undermind thing?
