Get a free box.net account and create a shared folder open to other people. Once you upload the file, you'll get a window with options for sharing it; there's a tiny pulldown menu with even more options, and somewhere in there is "embed." Pick that, size the embed properly, and go for it. (The only problem I ran into is that for some reason, Dreamwidth didn't cross-post the embed -- usually it does that automatically.)
