It is, but it can theoretically be processed in facilities that also process gluten-containing foods, which could potentially lead to accidental cross-contamination. So out of over-caution for my friend with celiac, I try to only use ingredients at Thanksgiving I know for sure don't contain gluten, even if the food itself (milk, cheese, honey, etc.) is one that is naturally gluten-free.
