One Britlish question: Should it be "clientele were" instead of "clientele was"? Wife can't decide, but it may be that she's gotten too Americanized. You know what I mean about plurals for collective nouns -- "Arsenal were relegated after a horrible season" vs. "New York was victorious over the pathetic Red Sox." This is now going to bug me.
