In an effort to keep myself from flailing about tomorrow's Confidential, I am going to spend the afternoon knitting and watching something totally unrelated to DW. Not that this will help much, I suspect, but it's worth a shot.

Another thing that probably won't help, but I'm going to do it anyway:

Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.

(Actually, I may try to write 100 words exactly, just because.)

See, this is why I decided not to put on my S4 DVDs, even though I really want to listen to more of the commentary tracks. This thing with the Confidential is going to drive me batty enough as it is.

Martha shakes her head in disgust. Now that they’re back in the TARDIS, the Doctor has disassembled the timey-wimey device, scattering components all over the ship, just like their living room in 1969. She gathers up the parts as she goes, following a trail of debris leading directly to ... her bedroom.

And there, on her pillow, is a shining silver stopwatch and a sack of jelly babies.

The Doctor sneaks into the room behind her and slips an arm around her waist.

“Now, Martha,” he says softly, “let’s talk about how we can put these to good use.”
