This will be it for the fic for a while, at least until the miscellaneous notes I have coalesce into an entire story.
Title: Knot
Character/Pairing: Jack Harkness and assorted consenting adults
Rating: PG
Word count: 117
Summary: A long day on the job, unexpected visitors, and home appliances just don't mix.
Disclaimer: Not mine, obviously.
Author's Notes: This is what my brain gets up to at 4am -- not quite crack!fic, but very close. Special thanks to
platypus for a quick read on this today.
After a long day's work at the sonic weapons factory in Villengard, Leon arrives home to a symphony of moans, grunts, and other unidentifiable sounds.
He finds his wife, his mother, his neighbour, his neighbour's wife, and another man, chiseled and handsome, tangled together in the centre of the living room. And is that his hair dryer in there?
An arm extends in greeting from the Gordian knot on the floor. "Captain Jack Harkness," says the handsome man. "Pleased to meet you. We could use a sixth." A few seconds later, the hand, unshaken, returns to the knot. It's needed elsewhere.
Leon backs away slowly, closing the door behind him.
He never uses a hair dryer again.

on 2007-07-09 05:15 am (UTC)Just finished the first series. OMFG. At the moment, I still think I'd rather have Eccleston than Tennant, if you know what I mean and I think you do. I love all the *beaming*. Such a joyous Doctor. But I'm prepared to love Tennant as well; the advantages of polyamory. (^_^)

on 2007-07-09 01:11 pm (UTC)I think you'll love Tennant, too, though in my opinion some of his best moments are in Series 3. I really must get you guys a copy of "Blackpool" to watch, too, not just for him (and oh, he is mightily scruffy and hot in it), but also because I know you will love its bizarre combination of murder mystery and goofy musical. Plus you should see the original before CBS screws it up with their remake this fall.
