i think rhapsody is more properly in the power metal or symphonic metal genres. when judas priest makes an epic theme album it'll be *heavy* metal. oh wait... (http://judaspriest.com/nostradamus/default.asp)
i am revealing too much about my listening habits, aren't i? ¬___¬
Hey, "heavy metal concept album" is one of the sweetest phrases in the English language! (Not that I can usually stand to listen to such things more than once, but I always find the concept vastly entertaining.)
i agree on both points, actually! oh, if only more metal was... better. i'll say i do love that new judas priest album, though, and i'm not generally a priest fan. I AM NOSTRADAMUS.
Unfortunately, there is no proper music video for this, uh, masterpiece.
There IS a live video, but even the terrible quality of the nth generation bootleg dubbing can't overcome the ineluctable feeling that, after watching it, you really need a shower.

on 2009-03-16 11:30 pm (UTC)"EPIC METAL" is properly defined by this video. Sheesh, they don't even get a drum beat going until 5 minutes in.
If only the lyrics weren't in English. Foo-WEE!
