My friends and I watched the Doctor Who TV movie. It's amazing, but I always forget how bad it is. Luckily, there was booze on hand. (I made up for the movie by showing them The Curse of Fatal Death after.)
I'm NGL, I kinda love St Trinian's 2. In a weird way. So much cracky goodness!
Had an awesome Doctor Who day as well -- spent the day catching Boyfriend #2 up on the episodes he had missed (started with 'Time of Angels' and ended with the awesomesauce brand-new one). It was yays. First I made him into a Blackpool fan and now he's becoming quite the Whovian.
I had heard it was an awful movie, so I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. (Maybe my expectations were suitably low?) It dragged like hell towards the end, but the rest of it was delightfully campy. (Except for the fact that there was one black character and of course she was the Ghetto Chav stereotype; that was rather facepalmy, but not entirely unexpected in a movie that trades almost entirely in stereotypes.)
Good for you for bringing Boyfriend #2 into the Whovian fold, and also for introducing him to the awesomeness that is Blackpool.
