columbina had run out of cookies, and it was way too gross outside to head to the store, so I threw these together from a recipe in the King Arthur Flour baking book. Couldn't have been easier -- I had them in the oven in about 15 minutes (if that), and though they baked up fairly flat, they had a surprisingly light and less fudgy texture than I was expecting for something with only half a cup of flour in it. (Not a complaint; if I'd wanted fudge, I'd have made it, and these were more like a dense, rich cake.)
I nearly left off the frosting and glaze out of laziness, but this would have been a mistake, because they were both prettier and tastier when frosted. Definitely making them again.
