Minuses:

• Not nearly enough billable hours today. Not likely to be enough billable hours all month, really.


• The cat continues to yowl constantly from 7am onwards until I get out of bed.

Pluses:

• Turned over the garden this weekend, added six bags of compost, and planted peas.


• Planted carrot and radish seeds this afternoon. Dammit, columbina and I need carrots that taste like carrots instead of cardboard. That winter CSA share really spoiled us.


• Took a mid-day walk with a friend, so I'm getting some exercise now. More walks planned later this week. (Hey, might as well use all that non-billable time productively.)


• Toes freshly painted iridescent red. MAC makes the best nail polish colors.


• Billable hours tomorrow!

On balance, clearly a good day. I think that strange feeling I'm experiencing right now might be relaxation. Weird.
