Survey Time

If you're at all involved in designing, developing, writing, or marketing websites, go take A List Apart's 2008 web survey. It's anonymous, it's painless, and it helps out a group who posts some of the most useful information out there on how to build a decent website.

I'd post the little "I took the survey" graphic here, but ironically, I failed to download it correctly.

I answered for my small part, and pretty much snorted when I saw

"Has employer or client prejudice about your gender slowed the
progress of your career, or made earning a living more difficult
than it should be?"

Definitely not with my current manager, yay!

Hooray! Isn't it nice working for sane people?

Sadly, I couldn't answer "definitely not" for that question, since I know there are a couple of jobs we've lost mostly due to the fact that neither of us is an avuncular-looking white male. Clearly I'm not going to transform into one of those anytime soon, but at least we're not hurting for other work regardless.
