Garden Madness, Part the Fifth

I'm way behind on garden photography, but I finally took a few shots this afternoon.



This is what the carrots and radishes looked like on May 13, 2007.

About two weeks later, they looked like this. This is probably when I should have been ruthless about thinning the carrots, because when you aren't hard-hearted and cruel, they end up looking like this:


In other vegetable news, the tomatoes are finally starting to come in:


The yarrow has grown aggressively in the last month. I'm pretty happy with this shot (YAY MACRO FOCUS):


... and finally, Inu is unimpressed with the camera:

When did Inu get that dark strip under her nose? Is there a website for cats that look like Douglas Fairbanks?

It's just a function of the lighting in the shot -- bright light outside, relatively dark inside, no flash on the camera. I did a little color-correction on this shot to lighten up her face and fur, but otherwise, you're just seeing issues with the ambient light.
