Oh dear god, what is the big deal about Amy's legs? I've barely noticed them, aside from thinking "goodness, she's tall" now and then. Am I just that oblivious because she's not my type?

There's one comment of another sort that bugged me: "She feels entitled to be the Doctor's companion not with any consideration of what he might want." Er... he invited her along. And I really hate glorifying the approval of the Doctor by making companionhood be some sort of position of honor he's there to bestow or withhold. She's his friend, she didn't apply for a support position.

And he was ready to bring her along when she was a little girl! If waiting twelve years for the man makes her feel "entitled" -- well, it damned well ought to.
